Travel CT Technologist position in Everett, Washington.

About the role

13-week travel assignment starting ASAP. 36 hours per week, 12-hour day shifts (4x12). Employment type: Travel. Float required between ER and Main CT. Weekend shifts and call required. Guaranteed 60 hours per 2 weeks; traveler may be called off for 1 shift per 2-week period.

Type of facility: Level II Trauma Center (includes Outpatient, Interventional Radiology, Emergency Room, Inpatient). Total staffed beds: 571 across both campuses. Charting system: Epic. Parking cost: Facility paid.

Responsibilities

  • Perform CT scans including abdomen, brain, chest, pelvis, sinuses, soft tissue neck, thoracic, vascular chest, and carotid studies
  • Conduct specialized procedures: 3D rendering (MIP, SSD, volume rendering), biopsies, aspirations, drainages, CT arthrography, myelography, coronary CTA, enterography, colonography, transplant studies, stroke protocol, brain perfusion, and calcium scoring
  • Start peripheral IVs and administer contrast media
  • Operate GE CT equipment (VCT 64Slice, HD750, Frontier 64Slice)
  • Follow radiation safety protocols and isolation precautions/PPE
  • Float between ER and Main CT as required
  • Work weekends and be on call
  • Complete non-billable modules (average 16 hours) pre-start and annually
  • Commit to working 3 of 5 holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year’s Eve, New Year’s Day)

Requirements

  • 1 year of CT experience required; accepts first-time travelers with at least 2 years of experience
  • GE CT experience within the last year (hardstop requirement)
  • Efficient experience with stroke protocol
  • Certifications: BLS, ARRT-CT, ARRT-R
  • Washington state license (or compact RN for RN jobs)
  • Epic charting experience required
  • No locals accepted
  • Must pass background check and provide 2 professional references covering 1 year within the last 3 years
