About the role
The CT Technologist performs a variety of CT procedures, both invasive and non-invasive, requiring independent judgment and initiative. Responsibilities include prescribed ionizing radiation procedures for radiological diagnoses and may involve additional duties as assigned.
Responsibilities
- Perform a variety of CT exams including neuro, abdomen, and orthopedic scans.
- Assist Radiologists with invasive procedures.
- Demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills with patients, physicians, and colleagues.
- Maintain professionalism, patience, and tact in all situations.
- Exhibit flexibility with schedule changes and work collaboratively under stress.
Requirements
- 1 year of CT Technologist experience (required).
- ARRT certification (required).
- BLS certification (required).
- Certified by the Ohio Department of Health (required).
- Graduate of an AMA-accredited Radiography Technology program or equivalent (required).
- ARRT registry in CT preferred or required within 1 year of hire eligibility.
- CT experience strongly preferred.
Schedule
- Duration: 13 weeks.
- 36 hours per week.
- 12-hour night shifts (11:00 PM start).
- Every 4th weekend required.
- No on-call duty.
Pay
- Base pay: $28.48/hour minimum (dependent upon experience).
- Shift differentials:
- Nights (11:00 PM–7:00 AM): +$4.00/hour.
- Evenings (3:00 PM–11:00 PM): +$1.50/hour.
- Weekends: +$2.00/hour.
- $15,000 sign-on bonus (requires a 2-year commitment).
- 20% permanent placement fee.
