Travel CT Technologist - $3,284 per week

About the role

Thrive Staffing is seeking a travel CT Technologist for a 17-week assignment in Rochester, New York. This full-time, travel position offers 40 hours per week with flexible 10-hour shifts.

Responsibilities

• Verify patient identity and confirm exam details before initiating scans.
• Collaborate with physicians to facilitate effective diagnostic imaging.
• Prepare patients for scans and explain procedures to alleviate anxiety.
• Insert IVs when required and position patients appropriately, adhering to safe handling practices.
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient records in the EPIC system, ensuring proper image identification and transmission to the PACS system.
• Ensure the scanning facility remains clean and safe for patient use.

Requirements

• Completion of formal training in an accredited School of Radiologic Technology.
• Current certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
• New York State licensure must be obtained prior to starting the position.
• Minimum of two (2) years of experience, preferably in a Level 1 Trauma Center.
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association is required.

Preferred Qualifications

• Certification for administering injections is preferred; willingness to complete during orientation is necessary.
• Experience with Philips and Siemens imaging equipment is preferred.

Pay

Pay package is based on 10-hour shifts and 40 hours per week, including a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
