About the role
LanceSoft is seeking a travel CT Technologist for a 13-week assignment starting August 3, 2026, at a location in Rochester, New York.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate with physicians to provide diagnostic imaging.
- Prepare patients for scans and explain the procedure to help them feel comfortable.
- Insert IVs when necessary for the test.
- Positions patients accordingly, which may include lifting or moving patients with limited mobility; must utilize safe patient handling.
- Maintains accurate patient record keeping by properly documenting all necessary components within EPIC to include identifying images and assuring images are sent to the PACS system correctly upon exam completion.
- Maintain a clean and safe scanning facility.
Requirements
- CT Technologist Specialty
- Allied Health Professional Discipline
- 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, days
- Fri – Sun 7am – 7:30pm. On call and holiday requirement
Qualifications
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Must have a valid driver’s license.
- Must be able to pass a drug screen.
- Must have a current state license to practice as a CT Technologist.
