Travel CT Technologist - $3,284 per week

TalentBurst, Inc is seeking a travel CT Technologist for a travel job in Rochester, New York.

Responsibilities

• Confirm patient identity and exam verification prior to initiating the scan;
• Strictly adhere to department policy and procedure for patient safety;
• Cookordinate with physicians to provide diagnostic imaging;
• Prepare patients for scans and explain the procedure to help them feel comfortable;
• Insert IVs when necessary for the test;
• Positions patients accordingly, which may include lifting or moving patients with limited mobility; must utilize safe patient handling;
• Maintains accurate patient record keeping by properly documenting all necessary components within EPIC to include identifying images and assuring images are sent to the PACS system correctly upon exam completion;
• Maintain a clean and safe scanning facility.

Requirements

• HCPs currently registered in NYS will be required to have injection therapy certification stated on their license at time of submission;
• Completion of formal training in an approved School of Radiologic Technology and maintains Certification through the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT);
• NYS licensure (must obtain PRIOR to starting position)
• Two (2) Years' Experience Level 1 Trauma Center Experience
• BLS (American Heart Association ONLY)
• Telemetry Preferred: Injection certification preferred-must be willing to complete during orientation process.
• Knowledge of Philips and Siemens equipment preferred.

Skills

• Expertise Rating Move Level I Trauma Experience Required 2 Years
• CT Tech License (NY ONLY) Required
• BLS (American Heart Association ONLY) Required
• Two (2) years experience Required
• 2 Years Siemens Scanner Experience Required
• 6 Months Epic Experience Highly desired
• 1 Years Telemetry Required

Pay and Benefits

The pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
