Job Summary

A Radiologic Technologist specializing in Computed Tomography (CT) is needed at a healthcare facility in Windsor, Vermont. This role involves operating state-of-the-art imaging equipment, including a 40-slice CT scanner, to provide high-quality diagnostic imaging for a diverse patient population ranging from pediatric to geriatric. The position offers rotating shifts with weekend and holiday coverage, requiring proficiency in both CT and X-Ray specialties.

Job Details

• Schedule: Rotating shifts, including Mondays, Tuesdays, Saturdays, Sundays, and a three-week rotating training schedule
• Hours: 12 hours per shift, 36 hours per week
• Shift: 12 hours

Required Qualifications

• Current ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) in Radiologic Technologies
• Certification in CT (ARRT R - CT)
• Vermont Radiology License or equivalent
• BLS (American Heart Association)
• On-call experience
• At least 2 years of current CT/X-Ray Tech experience
• Possession of own vehicle
• Able to work independently

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Toshiba 80 Slice CT scanner
• Cerner EMR system
• Prior travel experience of at least 6 months

• This position emphasizes patient safety with dose reduction and radiation monitoring measures in place.
• Responsibilities include providing diagnostic radiographs and CT scans to outpatients, inpatients, and emergency room patients, with close contact with radiologists for exam interpretation.
• The facility serves a small, close-knit community with access to outdoor activities and major city amenities within a few hours' drive.
• Residing within 50 miles of the facility is not acceptable for this role.

Pay Package

The pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
