Travel CT Technologist - $2,715 per week

About the role

TNAA TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel CT Technologist for a 14-week assignment in Hermiston, Oregon. This position requires 1 year of experience and certification as a Registered Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) in CT.

Responsibilities

• Confirm patient identification and review imaging requests
• Explain imaging procedures to patients and provide reassurance
• Correctly interpret doctors' written instructions
• Position patients for CT scanning
• Use computerized tomography equipment to capture diagnostic images
• Administer radiocontrast agents to enhance visibility of internal organs
• Evaluate CT scans for technical quality
• Maintain accurate patient records
• Use the McKesson PACS system

Requirements

• 1 year of experience as a CT Technologist
• BLS certification
• ARRT (CT) certification
• State-specific licensing if required
• Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology

Qualifications

• ARRT (CT)
• BLS
• 2 years of experience

Skills

• Ability to stand and walk for long periods
• Knowledge of radiation safety procedures
• Understanding of medical terminology and anatomy

Benefits

The pay package is based on 12-hour shifts and 36 hours per week, with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
