About the role
The CT Technologist position is located in Marietta, Georgia. This role involves providing safe, accurate, and efficient computed tomography (CT) imaging services within a healthcare facility. The technologist will perform a variety of technical procedures independently, ensuring quality diagnostic results while adhering to safety and procedural standards.
Schedule
- Nights shift, Fri, Sat, Sun from 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM
- Minimum 36 hours per week
- 12-hour shifts
Responsibilities
- Perform a variety of CT imaging procedures independently
- Ensure quality diagnostic results while adhering to safety and procedural standards
- Demonstrate proficiency in patient positioning, radiation protection, and image quality
- Perform quality control tests
- Responsible for equipment maintenance and safety protocols
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare staff
- Participate in departmental orientation and maintain compliance with regulatory standards
- Perform routine clerical duties as needed and take call when necessary
- Provide patient education and support throughout procedures
- Maintain departmental cleanliness and supplies
- Float rotation may be required
Requirements
- Graduate of AMA-approved School of Radiology Technology
- Minimum 1 year experience in Radiology
- Less than 1 year experience in CT
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to operate all workstations associated with the CT department
- ARRT Radiography certification
- ARRT Computed Tomography certification
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- BLS Instructor or BLS Provisional certification
