About the Role
American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist for a 13-week travel assignment in Bridgeport, West Virginia, starting on September 7, 2026. The role involves working in a CT Tech unit within an acute care hospital setting, serving adult acute care, outpatient, and emergency department patients.
Responsibilities
- Perform abdomen/pelvis, chest, head and neck, spine and musculoskeletal, and cardiac/vascular chest CT studies
- Use Toshiba/Canon CT equipment and PACS system
- Work with Cerner EMR
- Perform 4x12 hour night shifts from 11:00 PM to 11:00 AM
- Work every other weekend
- Responsible for image display and post-processing, including 3D rendering and multiplanar reconstruction
- Prepare and/or administer contrast media
- Adhere to radiation safety and isolation precaution/PPE protocols
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a CT Technologist
- BLS certification
- WV license required prior to start
- ARRT(R) certification required; ARRT(CT) preferred
- Cerner EMR experience
- Experience with Canon/Toshiba CT equipment preferred
- Skilled in starting peripheral IVs and venipuncture
- Experience with 3D rendering and multiplanar reconstruction preferred
- Community hospital experience preferred
- Prior travel experience preferred
- Must live within a 75-mile radius of the facility
Qualifications
- ARRT(R) certification
- WV license
- BLS certification
Skills
- Proficiency with Toshiba/Canon CT equipment
- Cerner EMR experience
- 3D rendering and multiplanar reconstruction
- Peripheral IV and venipuncture skills
Schedule
4x12 hour night shifts from 11:00 PM to 11:00 AM, every other weekend, 48 hours per week.
