Travel CT Tech - $3,168 per week

About the role

American Traveler is seeking a CT Technologist for a 13-week day shift contract in Philadelphia, PA.

Responsibilities

• Works in a Level I Trauma center with an Emergency Department setting
• Performs 4x10 hour day shifts, Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday from 7:30 AM to 6:00 PM
• Uses Philips CT scanner for all imaging
• Performs charting in Centricity RIS-IC
• No floating required
• No on-call required

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of CT Technologist experience
• ARRT (CT), ARRT (R), and BLS required
• Proficiency in a broad range of CT procedures including abdomen/pelvis, head and neck, spine, chest, and vascular CTA studies
• Experience with brain perfusion, colorectal studies, enterography, and musculoskeletal trauma imaging
• Skills in contrast media preparation and administration, starting peripheral IVs, radiation safety, and isolation precautions/PPE
• Experience with Philips CT equipment and image post-processing (ROI)
• Valid state license or certification required; license required if applicable
• SSN and DOB required for consideration
• Two professional supervisor references from within the past 2 years required for consideration

Qualifications

• Pass/fail clinical exam is required for clearance; candidates have a maximum of 3 attempts to pass, and a third failed attempt results in automatic cancellation
• Pennsylvania fingerprinting (Childline) is required and must be completed at the earliest available date, as results can take up to 2 weeks; results from within 12 months of start date are accepted
• Laboratory work must be completed within 48 hours of signing
• Copies of certifications are required for consideration

Pay package is based on 10 hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation)
