About the role
American Traveler is seeking a CT/X-Ray Combo Technologist with at least 2 years of CT experience for a day-shift role requiring on-call coverage at an acute care hospital.
Responsibilities
- Day shift schedule with 4x10-hour shifts, primarily 7:00 AM-6:00 PM with staggered start options (7:00 AM, 8:00 AM, or 8:30 AM)
- On-call coverage required for hours after 6:00 PM when night shift coverage is unavailable
- Weekend shifts required based on staffing needs
- Potential to float within clinical scope to meet facility needs
- Uses Cerner for hospital charting; PCC used in the attached long-term care facility
- CT equipment includes GE, Philips, Siemens, and Toshiba scanners with PACS imaging
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of CT experience required; X-ray only experience will not be accepted
- ARRT-R and BLS certification required; ARRT-CT certification preferred
- CT registry not required for candidates with 2+ years of CT technologist experience
- Pending state license accepted; license required if applicable
- Experience performing CT imaging of the abdomen/pelvis, head and neck, spine and musculoskeletal system, chest, and vascular CTA required
- Proficiency in image display and post-processing techniques
- Skilled in contrast media preparation and administration, radiation safety protocols, and isolation precautions/PPE
- Preferred experience in teaching hospital, community hospital, LTAC, and Level I/II trauma settings
Qualifications

Pay
Pay package is based on 10 hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
