About the role
American Traveler is hiring a Night Shift CT Technologist with ARRT (CT) certification and 1+ years of experience for a Level II Trauma Center in Bend, Oregon. This is a 13-week travel assignment starting September 8, 2026, with 40 hours per week on a 10-hour night shift schedule.
Schedule
- Shift: Nights, 4x10 hours (Wednesday–Tuesday)
- Weekday hours: 19:45–06:15
- Weekend hours: 18:45–06:15
Responsibilities
- Perform a range of CT imaging studies including abdomen/pelvis, head/neck, spine, musculoskeletal, and chest studies
- Conduct special procedures such as aspirations, biopsies, drainage, coronary CTA, and vascular CTA
- Use GE scanners and PACS system for imaging and image display/post-processing, including 3D rendering and multiplanar reconstruction
- Prepare and administer contrast media, including peripheral IV starts and venipuncture
- Adhere to radiation safety protocols and isolation precautions/PPE
- Complete required orientation modules (renewed annually)
- Work alongside other night shift technologists in a hospital setting serving adult and pediatric acute care, outpatient, ED, and ICU patient populations
Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year of CT Technologist experience
- ARRT (CT) and BLS certification required
- State license required if applicable
- Epic charting system experience required
- Level II Trauma Center experience required; Level I Trauma Center and teaching/community hospital experience preferred
- Proficiency in abdomen/pelvis, head/neck, spine, musculoskeletal, and chest CT studies
- Candidates must reside more than 75 miles from the facility to qualify for travel rate; local candidates are not accepted

Pay package is based on 10-hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
