About the role
American Traveler is seeking a travel CT Technologist for a night‑shift contract in Greer, South Carolina. The position involves working on a CT tech unit with GE equipment, 3×12‑hour night shifts (Wednesday‑Friday, 18:30‑07:00) for 36 hours per week over a 13‑week assignment starting October 12, 2026.
Responsibilities
- Perform CT imaging procedures on assigned patients using GE scanners.
- Work three 12‑hour night shifts per week (Wednesday‑Friday, 18:30‑07:00) with no on‑call requirements.
- Maintain patient safety and image quality standards.
- Adhere to attendance policy; missing more than two shifts without reasonable explanation may trigger contract review.
Requirements
- ARRT (CT) and SCRQSA certification.
- BLS certification.
- Valid state license (if applicable); pending license accepted but must be obtained before start date.
- Minimum of 1 year of CT experience; 2+ years preferred.
- GE equipment experience required.
Qualifications
- Recent Epic experience preferred but not required.
- Ability to pass a pass/fail Cardiac Dysrhythmia Test on the first day of orientation (single attempt).
- First‑time travelers accepted; local candidates not accepted (75‑mile radius rule).
- Former SRHS permanent staff are ineligible to return as a traveler.
Skills
- Proficiency with GE CT scanners.
- Familiarity with Epic EMR (preferred).
- Strong night‑shift stamina and attention to detail.
- Ability to complete required compliance paperwork (RTO) at initial submission.

Pay

Schedule
Night shift: three 12‑hour shifts per week (Wednesday, Thursday, Friday) from 18:30 to 07:00, totaling 36 hours weekly. Assignment length: 13 weeks, start date October 12, 2026.
