About the role
Experienced travel nurse specializing in Critical Care, providing patient care in ICU and stepdown units with a 1:1 to 1:3 nurse-to-patient ratio.
Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality nursing care across multiple ICU units
- Float as needed to various specialties
- Adhere to shift schedules without call responsibilities
- Ensure proper documentation and maintain certifications
Qualifications & Skills
- Diploma or ADN/ASN from an accredited school
- Current North Carolina or compact license
- Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, and NIH Stroke Scale
- Preferred: BSN/MSN
- 10+ months in Critical Care Float Pool
- At least 12 months of recent experience
Key Duties
- Float across ICU units such as Surgical, Neuro, Cardiac, and Burn Center
- Flexibility to work in stepdown units
- Participate in pre-employment modules
- Submit references and respond promptly to offers
Schedule
- Night shifts: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
- Every other weekend and holiday
- Up to 14 days off
