Travel Critical Care Registered Nurse - Weekly Pay

About the role

An experienced nurse is sought for a travel nursing position, providing critical care in various ICU units including Surgical, Neuro, Medicine, Cardiac, and Burn Center. The role involves floating to different units as needed, with patient ratios typically 1:1 or up to 1:3.

Responsibilities

• Provide critical care to ICU patients, floating across units as required.
• Maintain patient safety and comfort during care delivery.
• Adhere to hospital protocols and standards.
• Coordinate with healthcare team members for optimal patient outcomes.

Requirements

• 12 months of recent critical care experience, including 3 months in the last year.
• Diploma or ADN/ASN from an accredited nursing school; BSN/MSN preferred.
• North Carolina or compact RN license.
• Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIH Stroke Scale.
• Skills Checklist and references within the last 2 years.

Schedule

• Night shift.
• Every other weekend and holiday.
• Maximum 14 days off, with scheduling arranged directly with the manager.
