Travel Critical Care Registered Nurse

Role: Experienced travel nurse specializing in critical care at a Level 1 trauma center. Responsibilities: Provide patient care across various inpatient units, float between locations within the facility, and adhere to unit protocols. Complete required exams and certifications promptly upon assignment. Qualifications 12 months of recent critical care experience and 3 months within the last year.24 months of Critical Care Float Pool experience in the past 3 years.12 months of travel nursing experience.Current North Carolina or compact license.Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS.Epic experience preferred.Ability to float to ICU, intermediate care units, and other inpatient units as needed. Key Duties Work night shifts, typically 12 hours, with a maximum of 4 shifts per week.Complete Relias exams within 48 hours of assignment.Maintain current certifications and references, including charge or lead nurse references within the last year.Must live more than 80 miles from the facility; travel only, local candidates are ineligible.Follow facility policies, including COVID vaccination requirements, with possible religious or medical declinations.Participate in floating to multiple units and locations, including ECU Medical Center, Beaufort, and Edgecombe hospitals.
