About the role

In this role, you’ll join our U.S. Military and Government team, specializing in seamless travel management services to our federal clients. As a Chat Travel Consultant, you will provide outstanding customer service to Defense & Government travelers before, during, and after their business trips.
Responsibilities
- Consult with travelers via Chat to recommend tailored resolutions to immediately meet their needs
- Troubleshoot any customer travel issues via chat
- Assist travelers by expertly booking and changing domestic and international flights, cars, and hotels
- Multi-task by conducting multiple customer conversations simultaneously
- Operate in a multi-account, fast-paced environment
Requirements
- 3 or more years' experience working as a Travel Consultant
- Experience in GDS (Sabre) across both local and global markets
- U.S. citizenship required due to Federal Government contract
- A genuine passion for high-quality customer service
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Strong teamwork skills
- A positive, “can do” attitude
- Willingness to learn and grow
- Flexibility to work a shifting schedule operating 24/7, including evenings, overnights, weekends, and holidays
Preferred Qualifications
- A flair for recognizing customer mood and tone through written communication and delivering extraordinary customer care
- Ability to fluently speak and write in English
- Strong computer skills for navigating multiple tools while communicating with customers
- Resilience and composure to remain positive under pressure and manage workload efficiently
- Problem-solving skills to effectively evaluate issues and offer creative solutions for first-contact resolution
- An eye for detail and accuracy
- Strong time-management, prioritization, and multi-tasking skills to handle several customer inquiries simultaneously
- High level of integrity to work with customer information and meet compliance requirements
Pay
The US national base salary range for this position is $39,200.00 - $72,800.00 annually. The actual base salary will be based on factors including the scope and complexity of the role and the successful candidate’s relevant experience, skills, knowledge, and work location.
