This position is located at Leisure Travel Center, Fort Riley, KS.
About the role
At Leisure Travel Center, we offer attraction tickets, cruise bookings, all-inclusive resort vacations, vacation planning, tourism information, commercial travel assistance, and passport and visa assistance. This position is eligible for the NAF benefits package and leave accrual.
Responsibilities
- Assist patrons by providing information concerning available leisure activities, selling tickets, making reservations, and arranging for special accommodations required for tours, sporting events, theaters, and special events.
- Provide full assistance to individuals planning travel itineraries not requiring commercial transportation, including hotel reservations and other local service or information.
- Maintain brochures, price listings, and related information for customer use.
- Receive payment, issue receipts, and document business transactions.
- Perform related administrative support duties.
Requirements
- Direct Deposit and Social Security Card are required.
- Must meet qualification/eligibility/background requirements for this position.
- A one-year probationary period may be required.
- Must satisfactorily complete an employment verification (E-Verify) check.
- Subject to satisfactory completion of all pre-employment checks in accordance with AR 215-3, para. 2, to include a Tier 1 background investigation.
- Must be willing to work days, nights, weekends, and holidays.

- Experience dealing with the general public and performing financial transactions.
Highly Preferred Criteria: Highly preferred candidates will be referred to management first. In addition to meeting the above qualifications, highly preferred criteria include:
- Experience with travel and/or leisure services.
- Demonstration of detail-oriented task completion and providing excellent customer service.
Highly preferred experience must be clearly stated in the resume to qualify as highly preferred.
