Responsibilities
- Provide occupational therapy services under the plan of care for residents in a long-term care setting
- Implement treatment plans to improve activities of daily living and functional mobility
- Document resident progress and maintain accurate rehab notes in the chart
- Communicate findings and collaborate with the supervising occupational therapist and the interdisciplinary team
- Ensure safety during therapy sessions, proper use of assistive devices, and adherence to infection control practices
- Uphold facility policies and regulatory requirements while delivering resident-centered care
Requirements
- Active Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant license in good standing (state of Montana)
- Associate degree in Occupational Therapy Assistant from an accredited program
- Experience in a long-term care or geriatric rehabilitation setting preferred
- Ability to work in a travel assignment and dayshift
- Demonstrated ability to function effectively in a long-term care facility environment
