Responsibilities

  • Provide occupational therapy services under the plan of care for residents in a long-term care setting
  • Implement treatment plans to improve activities of daily living and functional mobility
  • Document resident progress and maintain accurate rehab notes in the chart
  • Communicate findings and collaborate with the supervising occupational therapist and the interdisciplinary team
  • Ensure safety during therapy sessions, proper use of assistive devices, and adherence to infection control practices
  • Uphold facility policies and regulatory requirements while delivering resident-centered care

Requirements

  • Active Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant license in good standing (state of Montana)
  • Associate degree in Occupational Therapy Assistant from an accredited program
  • Experience in a long-term care or geriatric rehabilitation setting preferred
  • Ability to work in a travel assignment and dayshift
  • Demonstrated ability to function effectively in a long-term care facility environment
