Travel Center Shift Leader

About the role

Shift Leaders are responsible for supervising employees and general operations of the store. The ideal candidate possesses excellent customer service skills to respond to the needs of customers, is self‑motivated, assists managers with tasks to keep facilities well‑maintained and running smoothly, and is knowledgeable of store operations and PFJ's commitment to quality and customer service.

Responsibilities

• Supervise employees and oversee general store operations
• Provide excellent customer service and respond to customer needs
• Assist store managers with tasks to maintain facility upkeep and smooth operation
• Ensure store is well‑maintained and running smoothly
• Interact with hourly team members, customers, vendors, and corporate representatives

Qualifications

• Previous experience or working knowledge of retail operations
• Incredible customer service skills and the ability to help maintain a customer‑focused culture
• Proficiency with a calculator, computer, and other equipment
• Ability to work as part of a team and interact with different levels (hourly team members, customers, vendors, corporate representatives)
• Ability to work a flexible schedule of nights, days, weekends, and holidays
• Background check required

Starting pay between $13.44 and $19.49 per hour
