Travel CCU Registered Nurse - $2,103 per week

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) with a Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN) to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be cross-trained to float between the Med/Surg, ICU, and ER units. This position requires strong critical care experience and excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to a diverse patient population across multiple units.
• Floate between ICU, ER, Med/Surg, and MST as needed, demonstrating versatility and adaptability.
• Maintain a professional demeanor while managing confidential patient information.
• Monitor patients’ vital signs and provide immediate medical attention as necessary.
• Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, ensuring adherence to protocols.

Requirements

• Current NYS RN License.
• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN) is required.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in MedSurg, Tele, and Critical Care units.
• Certifications in BLS, ACLS, PALS (American Heart Association), and NIHSS are required.
• Basic Coronary Care certification within 6 months of hire; CPI certification within 90 days of hire.
• Certification by the Emergency Nurses Association (ENA) and TNCC is recommended within two years of hire.

Pay

The pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
