Travel Cath Lab Technician

About the role

We are seeking a skilled Cath Lab Tech to assist in diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular procedures in a cardiac catheterization lab.

This role demands technical expertise, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in high-pressure situations to deliver high-quality patient care.

Responsibilities

• Preparing patients and equipment for procedures such as catheterizations, angioplasty, and stent placements
• Assisting physicians by passing catheters, wires, balloons, and operating imaging and monitoring equipment
• Maintaining sterile technique, ensuring patient safety, and adhering to infection control protocols
• Operating, maintaining, and troubleshooting imaging and hemodynamic monitoring systems
• Documenting procedures accurately and managing inventory and supplies
• Following radiation safety and hospital policies to ensure regulatory compliance

Qualifications

• At least one year of recent experience as a Cardiac Cath Lab Tech
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications
• ARRT, RCES, or RCIS certification
• Preferred: Valid radiologic technologist license, PALS or ENPC certifications
