About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Cath Lab Tech to assist in diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular procedures in a cardiac catheterization lab.
Responsibilities
- Prepare patients and equipment for procedures
- Assist physicians during diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular procedures
- Operate imaging and hemodynamic monitoring systems
- Maintain sterile techniques
- Ensure patient safety
- Operate specialized equipment
- Manage inventory
- Document procedures accurately
- Adhere to safety and infection control protocols
Qualifications
- Minimum one year of recent experience as a Cardiac Cath Lab Tech
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications
- ARRT, RCES, or RCIS certification
- Preferred: Additional certifications such as PALS or ENPC
Skills and Abilities
- Critical thinking and problem-solving
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Physical ability to move and handle equipment
- Proficiency in reading instructions and PC skills
- Visual acuity
- Ability to work under pressure with attention to detail
