Travel Cath Lab Technician - $2,655 per week - 1133532

About the role

A hospital in Eastern Wisconsin is in need of a Cath Lab Tech to work a 13 week assignment. The Tech will be required to take call and will be working either 5 eight hour days or 4 ten hour days.

Responsibilities

• Takes patient histories and performs pre-procedure tests
• Assists physicians during cardiac catheterization procedures
• Monitors patient vitals and prepares patients for procedures
• Ensures proper equipment is available and functioning
• Documents patient information accurately and promptly

Requirements

• Current registration as a Cath Lab Technologist
• Experience in a similar role preferred
• Knowledge of medical terminology and anatomy
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Completion of a recognized training program in Cath Lab Technology
• Current CPR certification
