Description
American Traveler is seeking a CT/X-Ray Technologist with 3+ years of experience for a 13-week night shift contract at a small rural critical access hospital in South Carolina.
Details
- Dual CT and X-Ray technologist role
- Adult and pediatric patient populations across acute care and outpatient settings
- Procedures include CT of the abdomen, pelvis, chest (including vascular/CTA), head, neck, sinuses, spine, and musculoskeletal studies
- Image post-processing includes 3D rendering (MIP, surface shaded, volume rendering), multiplanar reconstruction (MPR), and ROI measurement
- Epic EMR experience required
- 3x12-hour night shifts, 6:00 PM – 6:30 AM, Sunday through Tuesday
- No on-call requirement
Requirements
Minimum of 3 years of CT/X-Ray technologist experience required
Current ARRT (CT), ARRT (R), and BLS certifications required
SCRQSA certification required
SC license required at time of consideration — no pending licenses accepted
Prior travel experience required
First-time travelers will not be considered
Community hospital experience required
Must be able to work independently in a small, rural facility setting
Proficiency with contrast media preparation and administration, peripheral IV placement, and radiation safety protocols
Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to qualify for travel pay rates
SSN and DOB required for consideration
Copy of certifications, driver's license, and SSN card required
2 supervisory references required
