American Traveler is seeking a travel Cath Lab Technologist for a travel job in Greensboro, North Carolina.Job Description & RequirementsSpecialty: Cath Lab TechnologistDiscipline: Allied Health ProfessionalStart Date: 08/24/2026Duration: 13 weeks40 hours per weekShift: 10 hours, daysEmployment Type: TravelAssignment OverviewShift: Days, 4x10hrsHours: 40 hrs/wkStart Date: Aug 24, 2026Length: 13 weeksOpenings: 1DescriptionAmerican Traveler is hiring a Cardiac Cath Lab Technologist with 2+ years of experience and BLS/ACLS certification to support a high-volume invasive cardiac catheterization lab.DetailsWork in a diagnostic cardiac cath lab and electrophysiology (EP) lab settingAdult and geriatric patient populationPatient ratio of 1:3Average of 25-35 invasive cath procedures performed per dayProcedures include balloon angioplasty, PCI, stent placement, thrombectomy, Impella insertion, left and right heart catheterization, and rotablator atherectomyAdditional procedures include CSI atherectomy, IABP, ACIST, OCT, IVUS, Angiojet, radial/ulnar/femoral access, EP ablations and studies, and PV lab procedures such as fistulograms and thrombectomyDiagnoses treated include coronary artery disease, peripheral vascular disease, and cardiac arrhythmiasUses EPIC-CUPID and XPER Witt for hemodynamic monitoringUses fluoroscopy and Philips equipment4x10 hour day shifts, Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 5:30 PMCall required as neededFloating required to any Cone Health campus in the event of a COVID surgeRequirementsMinimum of 2 years of relevant experience requiredBLS and ACLS certification requiredRCIS or RCES certification strongly preferred but not requiredLicense required if applicableCommunity hospital experience requiredEPIC EMR experience requiredPrior travel experience requiredProficiency in scrub and EKG lead placementExperience with venous access, vascular closure systems (Perclose, StarClose), and vascular studiesSkilled in equipment setup, prepping access sites, and recognizing life-threatening arrhythmiasMust be able to pass a Pass/Fail EKG compliance exam with up to two attempts allowedAdditional InformationResponsibilities include scrubbing and circulating for invasive cardiac and EP procedures, hemodynamic monitoring, and conscious sedation supportPerform adjunct cardiac intervention therapies and assist with diagnostic and interventional catheterizationsSupport EP lab procedures including device implants, ablations, and EP studiesSupport PV lab procedures including fistula access, lower extremity runoff studies, and pedal accessFirst-time travelers will be considered for this positionCandidates must reside at least 50 miles from the facility, with no local rate option availableAmerican Traveler Job ID #P-733097.
