Travel Cath Lab Tech - $2,545 per week

About the role

TNAA TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Cath Lab Technologist for a 13-week assignment in Seneca, South Carolina. The role involves assisting physicians during advanced diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures in the Cardiac Catheterization Lab, including scrubbing, monitoring, and supporting providers as requested.

Responsibilities

• Prepare Cardiac Lab procedure rooms by ensuring adequate stock and working condition, including instrument sterilization if applicable.
• Prepare patients and equipment for cardiac lab procedures by setting up the site of entry, draping patients, arranging sterilized instruments and catheters, and calibrating pressure transducers and tubing.
• Operate and ensure quality control of all equipment utilized in the cardiac cath lab.
• Scrub in during procedures, assisting physicians in maneuvering catheters.
• Obtain and record hemodynamic, electrical, and angiographic data by operating hemodynamic and electrical amplifiers and digital and line fluoroscopic equipment.
• Monitor patients' hemodynamic status during procedures.
• Participate in life-saving measures such as defibrillation and cardiopulmonary resuscitation.
• Stand, walk, bend, lean, or stoop for extended periods without difficulty.

Requirements

• 1 year of experience in a Cath Lab setting.
• BLS and ACLS certifications.
• ARRT (R)-CI preferred or CCI-RCIS certification.
• State-specific licensing when required.
• Additional certifications may be required before beginning an assignment.

Schedule

• 40 hours per week.
