Travel Cardiovascular Technologist OR - CVOR Tech Job
Overview
The role supports the OR team in a CVOR setting, with a 3x12 schedule and active perioperative collaboration under RN supervision. Key Highlights:
- Weekly pay: $1,667-$1,738 per week
- Guaranteed hours: 32 per week
- Contract duration: 13 weeks

- Setting: Short-term acute care hospital
Responsibilities
Assist during surgical procedures by ensuring and maintaining a sterile surgical field and providing instrumentation as needed to the surgical team; function under the direction of a Registered Nurse.
- Apply sterile and aseptic technique, integrating knowledge of human anatomy and surgical procedures with appropriate tools and technologies.
- Work with established AORN standards.
- Maintain and check instruments and consumables for packaging integrity, moisture, seal, expiration dates, and sterility.
- Ensure safe operating room conditions and proper equipment function.
- Monitor the sterile field for potential contamination or disruption and initiate corrective action under supervision.
- Support team in patient transports, room turnovers, and room preparation; participate in Time Out processes, briefings, and debriefings.
Requirements
- Licensure: Licensed Surgical Technologist in the state of Colorado
- Certification: Completion of a Certified Surgical Technologist program and/or licensed Surgical Technologist Certification
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association
- Education: Education consistent with CST program completion or active CST licensure
- Skills: Working knowledge of English (reading, writing, speaking) and basic computer proficiency; ability to obtain required computer skills within 90 days
