About the role
This is a travel assignment in a clinical electrophysiology lab setting. Residents within 50 miles of the facility receive a local pay rate, which is $10 less than the posted travel rate.
Responsibilities
- Prepare sterile equipment, catheters, sheaths, and other instruments for EP procedures
- Assist during ablations, EP studies, cardioversions, cardiac device implants and explants
- Provide technical support for the Electrophysiologist during procedures
- Assist in diagnosing arrhythmias using stimulators and program device thresholds for pacemakers (Medtronic, St. Jude, Boston Scientific)
- Demonstrate experience with programming concepts and Pruka system; scrubbing in and driving a Siemens biplane is preferred
- Maintain sterile technique and support the EP team throughout procedures, ensuring equipment readiness and proper documentation
Requirements
- 3+ years of electrophysiology (EP) experience
- Prior experience with EP devices, EP studies, ablations, and PVI procedures
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications
- Proficiency with programming concepts and pacemaker device programming; experience with the Pruka system; scrubbing in and driving Siemens biplane is preferred
- Ability to work in an EP lab environment, maintain sterile technique, and adhere to safety protocols
- Availability to work 10-hour shifts, Monday through Friday, with no weekends or holidays
Pay
Weekly pay: $2,503–$2,654 per week for 40 guaranteed hours.
Schedule
10-hour days, Monday through Friday, 7:00 am–5:30 pm.
