Responsibilities
- Prepare and maintain EP lab equipment and monitoring systems for electrophysiology procedures
- Absorb and assist EP physicians with mapping, ablation, device implants, and other EP interventions
- Record and interpret intracardiac signals, document procedure details, and track patient status during cases
- Ensure sterile technique, equipment readiness, and timely room turnover between procedures
- Maintain patient hemodynamics and respond to clinical changes under supervision
- Collaborate with physicians, EP nurses, and other technologists to support safe, efficient procedures and adherence to safety and infection control protocols
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of experience as an EP Technologist RCIS or RCES certification required at time of submission
- BLS and ACLS required at time of submission
- Ability to work in a hospital EP lab environment
- Experience with advanced EP procedures is preferred (examples: left bundle pacing, Watchman, Pulsed Field ablation, leadless devices)
