Travel Cardiovascular ICU Registered Nurse - $2,230 per week

About the role

The Organization is seeking an experienced ICU (Intensive Care Unit) Cardiovascular (CVICU) Nurse to join a dynamic team in Madison, WI. This role involves providing specialized care for patients undergoing cardiothoracic surgeries, heart and lung transplants, and managing various medical devices within a fast-paced, high-acuity environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide specialized care for patients undergoing cardiothoracic surgeries, heart and lung transplants, and manage various medical devices within a fast-paced, high-acuity environment.
• Must pass telemetry test prior to start.
• Experience with CVICU equipment and procedures including ARTERIAL line management, CVVH, Impella, IABP, ECMO, and other advanced monitoring and managing skills.
• May be required to float as needed within a 50-mile radius.

Requirements

• Two years of recent acute care experience within the last three years in the specialty they are submitting to.
• Experience with CVICU equipment and procedures including ARTERIAL line management, CVVH, Impella, IABP, ECMO, and other advanced monitoring and managing skills.
• Must pass telemetry test prior to start.
• WI or compact Registered Nurse (RN) license, AHA Basic Life Support (BLS), and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.
• Submittal Requirements: Must meet minimum experience and certification requirements, and successfully pass required testing prior to assignment start.

Qualifications

• Two years of recent acute care experience within the last three years in the specialty they are submitting to.
• Experience with CVICU equipment and procedures including ARTERIAL line management, CVVH, Impella, IABP, ECMO, and other advanced monitoring and managing skills.
• Must pass telemetry test prior to start.

Skills

• WI or compact Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• AHA Basic Life Support (BLS).
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.

Pay

The Pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
