Cross Country Nurses is seeking a travel nurse RN for a CVICU position in Wichita, Kansas. This is a travel nursing assignment in a 20‑bed cardiothoracic intensive care unit, providing specialized critical care to cardiac and thoracic surgery patients. The assignment starts October 18, 2026 and runs for 13 weeks (through January 16, 2027) on night shifts, 12‑hour shifts, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.

Responsibilities

• Provide specialized critical care to cardiac and thoracic surgery patients in a cardiothoracic ICU.
• Follow standard operating procedures (SOP) and hospital policies.
• Adapt to night‑shift rotations and maintain high‑quality critical care.

Requirements

• Active Kansas RN licensure.
• Nursys license/license/certificate verification.
• Professional credentials.
• Completion of Ascension resume, Ascension profile, and submission of two professional references.
• Competency in the required skills checklist.

Qualifications
