About the role

The Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory (Cath Lab) Nurse position is located in an advanced facility specializing in cardiovascular procedures. This role involves providing comprehensive patient care within the Cath Lab unit, performing medical interventions, and assisting with related procedures during day shifts. This is a short-term travel assignment lasting approximately three months, with a focus on supporting the laboratory's clinical operations.

The unit has three Philips laboratories and a multidisciplinary team of approximately 20 staff members. Equipment used includes Philips c-arms and Merge vericis for hemo system, with electronic medical records managed through Epic. Candidates should be flexible, self-starters, and capable of taking direction. The role involves supporting procedures such as EP, IR, Neuro, Vascular, and Cardiac interventions. Staffing includes day shift teams with rotating on-call duties. Orientation will be provided, and weekend/on-call rotations are part of the schedule.

Schedule

• 10-hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM
• Minimum of 40 hours per week
• Start Date: 09/21/2026 • End Date: 12/21/2026

Requirements

• Valid RN license
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification
• Experience in at least three of the following service lines: EP (Electrophysiology), IR (Interventional Radiology), Neuro, Vascular, Cardiac

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in four or more of the following service lines: EP, IR, Neuro, Vascular, Cardiac
