About the role

Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory (CCL) Nurse located in a healthcare facility. This position involves providing specialized nursing care within the cardiac catheterization laboratory environment for a duration of approximately three months. The role includes participating in a rotation of on-call responsibilities, supporting patient procedures, and adhering to facility protocols to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Schedule

• Four 10-hour shifts per week
• Call rotation every 4-5th weekend and on weekday nights
• Shift start times stagger from 6:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. or 7:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
• Minimum of 40 hours per week

Responsibilities

• Participate in procedural support within the cardiac catheterization laboratory
• Provide patient monitoring during cardiac procedures
• Adhere to clinical protocols and standard operating procedures
• Collaborate with staff to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Float rotation may be required

Requirements

• Certifications in cardiac ICU or cardiac care pathways
• Nursing degree or diploma
• Active nursing license
• At least 1 year of experience in a related setting
• Location within commuting distance

Qualifications

Preferred:

• Experience specifically in cardiac catheterization laboratory settings
• ACLS and BLS certifications
• Proficiency with cardiac procedures
• Familiarity with catheter lab equipment and protocols

Pay

Pay package is based on 10-hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
