About the role

As the Skilled Nursing Travel Business Office Manager, you will oversee the financial operations of various skilled nursing facilities within the Tutera Senior Living & Health Care network. You will travel to different locations to ensure the smooth functioning of business office operations, maintain accurate financial records, and uphold the highest standards of fiscal responsibility.

Responsibilities

  • Travel to various skilled nursing facilities to manage business office operations
  • Maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Monitor accounts receivable and address overdue accounts and payment issues
  • Contact customers or clients via phone, email, and/or mail to notify them of overdue payments and negotiate repayment plans
  • Manage RFMS/Resident Trust Fund experience and extensive experience in healthcare billing systems (e.g. PointClickCare, Epic)
  • Interpret financial data and trends, and make informed decisions based on analysis
  • Show proven leadership abilities, including experience in team management, training, and development
  • Work well with others in a team environment and have excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Be proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Be willing and able to travel frequently, including overnight stays

Requirements

  • Minimum of three years of prior Skilled Nursing Facility Business Office Management experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administrator, Business Management, Finance, or related field required
  • RFMS/Resident Trust Fund experience
  • Able to be collections focused
  • Experience in interpreting financial data and trends
  • Proven leadership abilities
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook

Skills

  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities
  • Knowledge of Medicare, Illinois/MO Medicaid, and third-party payer regulations and reimbursement processes
  • Ability to work well with others in a team environment
  • Willingness to travel frequently, including overnight stays
