Travel Assistant Superintendent
About the role
Assist the Superintendent in managing all day-to-day field operations on data center construction projects.
Coordinate subcontractors, trade partners, vendors, and field personnel to maintain project schedules and milestones.
Ensure all work is performed in accordance with project plans, specifications, quality standards, and client requirements.
Promote and enforce a strong safety culture while ensuring compliance with OSHA regulations and site-specific safety programs.
Participate in daily planning meetings, safety meetings, and subcontractor coordination meetings.
Monitor installation activities to verify proper sequencing, productivity, and workmanship.

Responsibilities

- Participate in daily planning meetings, safety meetings, and subcontractor coordination meetings.
- Monitor installation activities to verify proper sequencing, productivity, and workmanship.
- Prepare and maintain daily reports, field documentation, safety records, and quality control logs.
- Coordinate inspections, testing activities, and turnover requirements.
- Support punch list completion, commissioning activities, and project closeout efforts.
Requirements
- Minimum of 1 years of construction field experience with commercial, industrial, advanced technology, or mission critical projects.
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, shop drawings, and schedules.
- Strong understanding of construction means and methods, safety requirements, and quality control processes.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and construction management software platforms.
- Experience on mission critical, data center, semiconductor, pharmaceutical, or highly technical construction projects.
- Knowledge of MEP systems, commissioning processes, and critical infrastructure environments.
- Experience with Procore, Bluebeam, BIM/VDC coordination, and scheduling software.
- OSHA 30 Certification.
- Experience supporting construction activities in active or operational critical facility environments.
