This position involves providing high-quality clinical services, supporting operational efficiency, and ensuring patient safety in a fast-paced ambulatory care setting. Job Details Must have an active Alaska license at the time of submittal. Minimum 2 years of urgent care experience or emergency department experience within the last 4 years. Schedule: Days shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum 36 hours per week. Maintain skill sets, participate in in-services and educational programs, and complete mandatory training and staff meetings. Adhere to infection control policies and ensure a clean, safe working environment. Provide clinical services in collaboration with providers, clinic staff, and management to ensure quality care and resource utilization. Oversee the opening and closing of provider clinics and assist with documentation and medication inventory management. Communicate effectively across departments to support patient needs and clinic operations. Current full, unrestricted Registered Nursing license in Alaska is required. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification mandatory. High school diploma or equivalent required. Two years of urgent care experience preferred. Skills include assessments, specimen collection, equipment use, and effective communication. Ability to multitask, work independently, and remain team-oriented is essential. Physical demands include frequent standing, walking, sitting, and handling up to 50 lbs. Position start date: 10/26/2026; end date: 01/25/2027.
