Job Details
- Schedule: Days shift, 8 hours per day, minimum of 40 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Valid nursing license, minimum of 2 years of experience in inpatient acute wound care, continence care, and ostomy care, plus 1 year of travel experience, and current certification in relevant clinical areas
- PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Experience with complex wound management and ostomy care procedures, and demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively within interdisciplinary teams
About the Role
The ambulatory care medical-surgical nurse is responsible for assessing patients' physical, psychological, and social needs, initiating and documenting care strategies, monitoring equipment, and ensuring compliance with safety and legal protocols. May handle biomedical, pharmaceutical, hazardous, and universal wastes per regulatory standards.
