About the role
As a Travel Advisor Specialist, you will act as a trusted advisor and consultant to corporate accounts, handling all domestic and international travel requirements. You will arrange routine and complex travel for air, rail, car, and hotel accommodations using the Sabre native GDS, while adhering to customer travel policies and quality assurance standards. The role involves proactive selling of additional services, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements, and managing the end-to-end booking process via phone, messaging, email, or back-office systems.
Responsibilities
- Respond to varying customer questions, issues, and concerns with innovative solutions.
- Act as the point of sale for all travel requirements, including air, rail, car, and hotel bookings.
- Fulfill requests for multi-faceted travelers while adhering to applicable processes and procedures.
- Provide consultative advice, solutions, and recommendations to customers.
- Proactively sell additional services (e.g., hotel and car) while ensuring adherence to customer travel policies.
- Comply with all legal and standard requirements, including mandatory training, compliance, and sanctions.
- Deliver on individual and shared team goals, supporting key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Follow internal compliance and regulatory requirements for all customers and locations supported.
- Manage the end-to-end booking process, including ticketing and order fulfillment, via telephone, messaging, email, or back-office systems.
- Operate in a telephony servicing environment, meeting KPIs such as customer satisfaction (CSAT), call adherence, and call service metrics.
- Operate in multi-channel (phone and email) environments, driving partnerships and sales of preferred air and hotel partners.
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years' experience with Sabre native GDS, including airline ticketing.
- 2 years' corporate or leisure travel industry experience.
- 1 year of international booking experience.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills, including inbound, outbound (callbacks), and email.
- Excellent telephone skills, including a professional demeanor, probing questions, and a sense of urgency.
- Fluency and comprehension in the language requirements for the specific point of sale (spoken and written), verified by a GBT-approved formal test.
- Accent-neutral verbal/written communication skills, if applicable, verified by a GBT-approved formal test.
- Strong listening skills, including active listening and understanding the context of the business traveler’s experience.
- Excellent written skills, including grammar and attention to detail in follow-up communications.
- Minimum 1 year of demonstrated experience using these communication skills.
- High School diploma or GED.

Work from Home Requirements
- A dedicated workspace near your router to support a hardwired Ethernet connection.

Pay
Minimum USD $20.00/Hr. Max USD $26.00/Hr.
