About the role
Seeking a Physician Assistant for inpatient trauma surgery coverage at a Level 1 Trauma Center.
Day shift coverage from 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM in a high-acuity inpatient environment. On-site work with no call duties.
Responsibilities
- Provide ongoing inpatient trauma coverage in a busy Level 1 Trauma Center
- Manage trauma surgery cases alongside a team of 6 Advanced Practice Providers (APPs) and 6 Medical Assistants (MAs)
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary support team
- Prescriptive authority is required
- Handle variable patient loads across all ages
Requirements
- Board certification is mandatory
- Experience in trauma surgery or related high-acuity care preferred
