Emergency Medicine Physician Associate - Locum Tenens

About the role

We are seeking a Board-Certified Physician Associate for inpatient emergency care at a Level III Trauma center. The role involves providing clinical coverage during day and night shifts, evaluating and managing emergency presentations across all age groups. The clinician will maintain accurate documentation and deliver quality care without call responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical coverage for inpatient emergency care during day and night shifts
• Evaluate and manage emergency presentations across all age groups
• Maintain accurate medical documentation
• Deliver quality care while ensuring patient safety and adherence to clinical standards
• Handle a variable caseload and provide care to diverse patient populations on-site

Requirements

• Board certification as a Physician Associate
• Ability to manage a variable case load in a Level III Trauma center
• Experience providing care to diverse patient populations
