Trauma Surgeon - Locum Tenens Coverage

Position Overview Seeking a board-certified MD to provide inpatient trauma surgery coverage on a 24-hour call basis. The role involves responding to trauma activations, managing ICU cases, and providing emergency general surgery (EGS) services. Key Responsibilities Provide on-site, inpatient coverage during assigned call shifts (10-15 per month)Respond promptly to trauma activations and surgical casesManage trauma, ICU, and emergency general surgery cases for all age groupsCoordinate with supportive staff, including APPs, nursing, and technical personnel Qualifications & Skills Board certification in relevant specialtyAbility to provide 24-hour inpatient coverageStrong clinical skills in trauma, ICU, and emergency surgery Additional Details Support staff includes APPs, nursing, and tech teamsOn-site availability required during coverage shiftsLocation offers a vibrant community with historical, cultural, and recreational attractions
