Trauma Clinical Nurse

About the Role

Provides direct patient care in a trauma, geriatric trauma, and acute care surgery setting, focusing on patients with various traumatic injuries.

Responsibilities

• Assess, diagnose, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care according to nursing standards.
• Educate patients and families on illness management, post-treatment care, and medication administration.
• Promote patient safety, quality care, and regulatory compliance while participating in professional development.
• Develop and document individualized care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team and patients.
• Assess physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs, considering patient preferences and barriers to involvement.
• Maintain safety-sensitive awareness and work in a safe manner at all times.

Requirements

• Nursing Diploma or Associate's Degree required; Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
• Valid RN license.
• No experience required; less than 2 years preferred for additional qualifications.
