TRASH TECHNICIAN (FULL TIME)

About the role

Crothall Healthcare is seeking immediate full-time TRASH TECHNICIAN positions at Novant Health Charlotte Orthopedic Hospital located at 1901 Randolph Road, Charlotte, NC 28207. Online applications are accepted only. The schedule includes full-time, second shift work from 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM, including weekends and holidays. Prior custodial experience is preferred, but not required. Additional benefits include medical and dental insurance, a 401(k) plan, paid time off, and a competitive hourly rate of $17.00.

Responsibilities

• Identifies, transports, and disposes of trash, chemicals, and bio-hazardous materials using proper safety procedures.
• Performs cleaning functions as assigned; properly operates cleaning equipment as designated.
• Recognizes safety hazards and acts accordingly.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Must have physical ability to walk, stand, and push trash containers weighing 50 to 100 pounds.
• Ability to follow written and oral instructions in English.

Pay

Fixed Pay Rate: $17.00 per hour.

Schedule

Full time schedule; second shifts available. 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM, including weekends and holidays. Days may vary. Further details upon interview.
