Transtar - Associate Account Executive

Responsibilities

• Marketing, prospecting, selling, and managing commercial lines insurance products and client relationships.
• Execution of our comprehensive sales process which includes successful prospecting, planning, and gaining new business.
• Actively cross-sell full range of insurance products.
• Responsible for meeting or exceeding sales and cross-sales goals.
• Actively call on identified target industry prospects to lead new business development and client acquisition efforts.
• Meet with prospective clients to obtain information about their current business model and their insurance needs for the future.
• Develop proposals and make recommendations.
• Provide insurance counseling, giving advice on coverage levels, insurance types, explaining terms, etc.
• Maintain effective working relationships with our service associates.

Requirements

• College degree
• Previous success in a sales role essential
• Must acquire Insurance license within 3 months of employment (employer paid)
• Willingness to travel
