Transporter - Supply Chain Management
About the role
The Supply Chain Management team at Hawai'i Pacific Health oversees the purchase of equipment, merchandise, and supplies within the organization's guidelines for cost, quality, and accurate delivery. This role involves performing a variety of transporting, distributing, and messenger services to support the efficient supply chain operations across the Hawai‘i Pacific Health network.
Responsibilities
- Performing transporting, distributing, and messenger services based on the needs and work flows defined by department leadership.
- Handling the receipt, stocking, and transportation of a variety of items to and from off-site locations.
- Managing inventory levels and routing incoming goods to appropriate departments.
- Researching or negotiating products according to quality, price, and value standards.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Current Hawaii driver’s license and auto insurance.
- Ability to operate company motor vehicles and moving equipment such as pallet jacks, dollies, hand trucks, and lifts.
