Market Manager Supply Chain Implementation

About the role

The Market Manager, Supply Chain Implementation, Central Coast, plays a pivotal role in the successful implementation and compliance of supply chain (SSRM) initiatives across the diverse Central Coast locations of CommonSpirit Health. Based in the Central Coast area (e.g., Santa Maria, San Luis Obispo), this role requires a proactive leader who can anticipate, organize, and communicate effectively to ensure maximum value capture from supply agreements.

Responsibilities

• Collaborates with stakeholders on local and system-wide implementations for hospital and CommonSpirit goals
• Acts as liaison between end-users, internal teams, and SSRM colleagues for contracted supplies/services
• Leads cost reduction programs and develops strategies across critical supply areas
• Anticipates implementation impacts, communicates with hospital departments, and ensures conversion success
• Assists with quality, analytics, and education for seamless product/service conversions
• Manages contract exceptions, clinical trials, new product requests, and monitors vendor credentialing/performance

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree and a minimum of 3 years of leadership experience OR a minimum of 5 years of leadership experience in the discipline OR a Master’s Degree
• Minimum of three (3) years’ experience in Supply Chain within a health care facility system or other relevant experience
• Change Management and Leadership (LEAD) experience required within the first year

Preferred

• Clinical hospital experience strongly preferred
• Team management and progressive experience in project management strongly preferred
