Transporter
Responsibilities
- Transports patients to and from the Radiology Department.
- Performs darkroom duties.
- Orders and stocks supplies.
- Dresses patients.
- Performs front office duties such as answering telephones, greeting patients, and preparing requisitions for outpatients.
- Fills out patient reports.
- Retrieves patient records for physicians or medical records.
- Provides clerical support using telephone, computer, office equipment, PACS, and runs errands throughout the facility.
Qualifications
- Must have BCLS (AHA) upon hire and maintain current throughout employment.
- Transportation experience preferred.
- Starting April 2014, all new hires will require a High School diploma or Equivalent.
Pay
Starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, in which a wide range of factors will be considered, including but not limited to, skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials and licensure. A reasonable compensation estimate for this role is $17.00/HR.
