Transporter

Responsibilities

• Transports patients to and from the Radiology Department.
• Performs darkroom duties.
• Orders and stocks supplies.
• Dresses patients.
• Performs front office duties.
• Answers telephones and greets patients.
• Prepares requisitions for outpatients.
• Fills out patient reports.
• Retrieves patient records for physicians or medical records.
• Provides clerical support using telephone, computer, office equipment, PACS, and runs errands.

Qualifications

• Must have BCLS (AHA) upon hire and maintain current throughout employment.
• Transportation experience preferred.
• Starting April 2014, all new hires will require a High School diploma or Equivalent.
