Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Experience with medical transport a plus

Duties and Responsibilities

• Demonstrates ability to engage individuals in a welcoming, hopeful, empathetic manner regardless of disability or phase of recovery
• Coordination of transportation services for individuals served
• Travels extensively to various locations throughout Michigan in the provision of transportation services for individuals served
• Performs vehicle inspections and ensures appropriate maintenance of Easterseals vehicles within assigned program
• Prepares vehicle inspection reports and reporting to supervision as required/needed
• Performs interdepartmental mail transport to various locations throughout Easterseals
• Performs all transportation services in accordance with applicable Easterseals Safety & Health policies and procedures
• Demonstrates knowledge of principles of trauma informed care
• Willingness to support and assist consumers with trauma related issues
